An excursion to a local apiary as part of Host Family Project

Yesterday, in Aksu settlement of Katon-Karagai district, the participants of the Host Family Project made an exciting trip to a local apiary - it became a real adventure and a hands-on lesson on beekeeping.

The children watched the life of hardworking bees with great interest, learned about the hive structure, honey production and the crucial role bees play in the ecosystem. A local beekeeper shared his knowledge, demonstrated special equipment and treated the children to freshly harvested honey.

The tour allowed the children not only to reinforce their knowledge, but also to get vivid impressions. The main thing is that it taught them to be more attentive and careful about nature and its amazing inhabitants.

The Host Family Project continues to open up new horizons for young participants, blending education with real world experiences.
