Host Family Project kicks off in East Kazakhstan region

From June 15 to 30, 2025, the annual social and educational project “Host Family” is getting underway in Katon-Karagai, Ulken Naryn and Shemonaikha districts of the region.

The participants from Ridder town, Shemonaikha, Tarbagatai and Zaisan districts were warmly welcomed at Ak Niet Boarding School. The meeting was organized by volunteers from Abai East Kazakhstan College of Humanities. The participants were provided with guidance and support on accommodation and staying comfortably in their host families.

The volunteers held a series of activities aimed at helping participants get to know one another and build a friendly atmosphere.  

A vivid flash mob left a lasting impression on the participants, becoming one of the standout moments of the project’s opening days.

The program included thematic discussions, intellectual games, as well as active forms of leisure.  

The volunteers will continue their work in rural settlements where participants will be staying, offering ongoing support to ensure the effective implementation of the program. During the event, Deputy Head of Education Administration A.D. Akhmadiyeva welcomed the project participants, congratulating them on the beginning of this significant journey and emphasizing the importance of the project.
