East Kazakhstan region hosts traditional Zhuldyzai Regional Festival for children with disabilities

The goal of the Zhuldyzai Festival is to nurture the creative abilities of children with special educational needs, as well as to promote the development of an inclusive environment in Kazakhstani society.

This project creates a space where every child, regardless of physical or mental challenges, can show their talents, self-confidence and feel valued and supported. The Festival promotes the principles of equality, respect and tolerance in society, ensuring every voice is heard and embraced.  

The competition included 4 categories – vocal performance, choreography, instrumental performance, and performing songs in sign language.

          According to the results of the regional competition, the winners of the competition are:

          Nomination “Vocal performance” in junior age group:

          I place - Kanatuly Parasat, a learner of Markakol Secondary School No.1 of Education Department of Markakol district;

II place - Trio “Smile” (song about wizards) - Secondary School No. 26 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

III place - Svetlana I. Myshelovskaya, a learner of Special School-Boarding School No. 2 of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

          Nomination “Vocal performance” in senior age group:

          I place – Viktoria Krekova, a learner of Special School-Boarding School No. 7 of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;

II place - Aibol Tokhtarkhanov, a learner of Markakol Secondary School No. 1 of Education Department of Markakol district;

III place - Margulan K. Zhenisbekov, a learner of M. Auezov Akzhar School-Boarding School-College of Education Department of Tarbagatai district.

          Nomination “Choreography” in junior age group:

I place - Dance group (Kapriz Dance Theater) - Special Boarding School No. 7 of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;  

II place - Milana A. Suleimenova, a leaner of October Complex Comprehensive Secondary School-Kindergarten of Education Department of Shemonaikha district;

III place - the dance group “Zhana Tolkyn” of Special School of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region; the dance group “Kapelki” of Special Boarding School No. 8 of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region and Adiya E. Zhenisova, a learner of Secondary School No. 15 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

          Nomination “Choreography” in senior age group:

I place - Dance group (Kapriz Dance Theater) of Special Boarding School No. 7 of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;

II place - Aruzhan Zh. Joldynbayeva, Kuralkyzy Nargiz from Ulken Naryn Secondary School of Education Department of Ulken Naryn district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;

III place - Tamshylar dance group of Special Boarding School No. 8 of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

           Nomination “Instrumental performance” in junior age group:

II place – Aldiyar B. Musin, a learner of School of Arts of Education Department of Shemonaikha district.

           Nomination “Instrumental performance” in senior age group:

I place - Baatarbek Aruzhan, a learner of I. Aitykov Secondary School-Kindergarten Complex of Education Department of Ulan district;

II place - Kumarkanuly Orazai, a learner of K. Damitov Secondary School of Education Department of Ulken Naryn district;

II - Duet (Kirill A. Gudkovsky, Anton S. Kolesnikov) from Special School of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, Askarova Sayanat, a learner of School-Center of Additional Education No. 19 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of East Kazakhstan region, Rodion Malendor, a learner of Children’s Music School No. 1 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

Nomination “Performing songs in sign language” in junior age group:

II place - Vadim V. Savelyev, a learner of Special School-Boarding School No. 2 of Altai town.

Nomination “Performing songs in sign language” in senior age group:

I place - Victoria V. Kuzmina, a learner of Special Boarding School No. 2 of Altai town;  

II place - Sofya A. Karpacheva - a learner of Special Boarding School No. 2 of Altai town.

First, second, and third-place winners were awarded diplomas, and educational institutions that prepared the winners received cash certificates in recognition of their contribution and support. All other participants of the Festival were awarded letters of appreciation for their active participation and creativity.

Following the results of the regional festival, the finalists who took first place in their nominations are invited to participate in the Republican round of the festival.

The winners of the Republican rounds from our region will participate in the Gala Concert of the Festival, to be held on June 1, 2025 in Astana city.
