A Psychological and Pedagogical Correction Centre for Children with Special Educational Needs opens in Samar district!

On June 2, 2025, the official opening of a new institution aimed at supporting children with special educational needs took place in Samar district.

The Centre provides rehabilitation, social adaptation and counseling services for families raising children from birth to 18 years old.

The institution was established under the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 11, 2002 No. 343-II and the Decision of Akimat of East Kazakhstan region dated December 27, 2024 No. 327 with the support of the Paryz Foundation.

The Centre is designed to accommodate up to 82 children.   

The following rooms are available in the Centre:

– Montessori room,

– Speech therapist room,

– Defectologist room,

– Psychologist room,

– Sensory room,

– Physical therapy and rhythmic training rooms,

- Life skills training area and others.

The building is fully adapted for children with special needs: ramps, tactile signs, wide doorways, handrails in restrooms.

A team of dedicated professionals work closely with children, including speech therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, Montessori instructors, physical therapy and rhythmic training teachers, life skills training teachers, educators.
