Regional charity WORKSHOP on “Alternative and special methods of inclusive support for children with special educational needs”

On May 30, 2025, to mark the International Children’s Day, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region and S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a regional charity workshop titled “Alternative and special methods of inclusive support for children with special educational needs”. The initiative took place as part of the project “Competence Center for Psychological-Pedagogical Support and Methodological-Technological Assistance for Children with Special Educational Needs”. Over 200 educators of preschool educational institutions of the region attended the workshop.  

During the WORKSHOP, the participants visited a hands-on exhibition showcasing the way to use author’s techniques, teaching aids and technological tools for working with children with disabilities, and presenting the experiences of specialists from Psychological, Medical and Pedagogical Consultation Units.

Following the workshop, there was a guided tour of the Laboratory of Dana Bala Continuous and Inclusive Education Centre, with feedback and Q&A sessions, where the participants received answers to their questions and noted the importance of the event.

The charity money will go to produce a professional defectologist’s table for Psychological, Medical and Pedagogical Consultation Unite of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.
