Regional Debate Tournament “Online loans: pros and cons”

On May 27, 2025, Abai East Kazakhstan College of Humanities hosted the Regional Debate Tournament for students of technical and vocational education organizations on the topic “Online loans: pros and cons”.

The goal of the Debate Tournament was to identify and support talented students who are interested in learning the basics of economic literacy, promote the system of intellectual extracurricular activities for students and expand the use of debate as an educational method.

10 teams from 6 colleges participated in the tournament, with the total of 30 participants.  

According to the results of the tournament, the winners in the team events were named and awarded diplomas:

I place - Abai East Kazakhstan College of Humanities;

II place - Ust-Kamenogorsk Higher Polytechnic College;

III place - Higher College of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

The winners in the nominations:

“Best Debut” - the team of East Kazakhstan Multidisciplinary College; 

“Best style” - the team of Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economics and Technology;

“Best Frame Maker” - the team of Abai East Kazakhstan College of Humanities.
