Harvesting has begun

Autumn field work is a large set of activities that determine the success of future harvests. In the Altai region, harvesting of spring grain crops - wheat, oats and barley-began on August 7. Climatic conditions of the area of the first harvesting began on 15 farms 4 rural districts: St. Nicholas, Chapaevsk, Solovyov, Sredigornove. According to operational data, the area of 5.7 thousand hectares has been cleaned to date, the average grain yield in the bunker weight was 20.2 C/ha, the gross harvest was 8.8 thousand tons. As of August 26, 2020, 2321 ha of spring wheat, 221 ha of oats, 1577 ha of barley, and 238 ha of peas were harvested. The progress of the harvesting campaign is under daily control.
