The length of highways that pass through the territory of the Altai region is 536.5 km, including the balance of ownership:

- highway of national significance ("Ust-Kamenogorsk-Altai-Rakhmanov keys") - 194 km;

- highways of regional significance ("Altayka-Chapayevo", "Severnoye-Feklistovka", "Oktyabrskaya ferry-Novo-Khairuzovka", "Sredigornoye-Alexandrovka" - 132.5 km;

- the length of roads of regional significance is 210 km, of which 19 km are paved with asphalt, 91.5 km are black, and 99.5 km are gravel and crushed stone. There are 2 bridges and 85 culverts on highways of regional significance.

The length of streets in cities and localities in the district is 510 km.

In 2020, as part of the implementation of the "employment Roadmap" program, average repairs of 8 streets in the city of Altai, length - 2962 m. (brylina street-220 m, B/Burnashova-600 m, Shady lane-170 m, Bocharnikov street-542 m, Partizanskaya street-700 m, Sportivnaya street-210 m, Pozdnyakov street-300 m, Shkolny lane-220 m).

Completed work on the average repair of 6 streets of the village of Berezovskoye in the city of Altai with a length of 2987 m.(Tsentralnaya St-630 m, Novaya St-455 m, Sovetskaya St-385 m, Molodezhnaya St-802 m, Construction St-540 m, Sovkhozny St -175 m).

In the city of Serebryansk, the average repair of Mira street with a length of 925 m and the average repair of Nekrasov street with a length of 2250 m have been completed.

The Department of housing and communal services, passenger transport, roads and housing inspection of the Altai region within the framework of the financing program "Ensuring road safety in settlements" carried out work on road markings on the roadway of the city of Altai with a length of 17.5 km, marked pedestrian crossings with a total area of 400 m2, installed according to the acts of a comprehensive survey of the street and road network of the Altai region 83 road signs.
