In order to prevent emergencies in the settlements of the Altai region, works are being carried out to clean up culverts, storm sewers, small rivers, streams, and ditches. In the village of Podorlenok, work on clearing culverts is coming to an end. During a flood, these small rivers, which are more like streams in the summer, bring a lot of unexpected trouble. In the spring, during the snowmelt, they sweep away everything in their path in a torrent. Therefore, they are already receiving great attention and all necessary measures are being taken to prevent flooding of residential buildings.
