The situation is under control

In the information center of the Department of internal policy, culture and language development, a briefing was held with the chief doctor of the Interdistrict hospital of Altai V. Korobkin. Vladimir Alekseyevich noted that medical institutions of the Altai region are ready for an emergency response in case of detection of coronovirus.

All medicines and medical devices required for the treatment of patients in the area are available in sufficient quantities. An isolation ward on the basis of an infectious diseases hospital has been opened for receiving patients, and boxes have been prepared. Medical organizations are equipped with artificial ventilation devices, and additional classes with medical personnel have been conducted.

To date, hospitals are provided with the necessary supply of masks, disposable gowns and antiviral drugs. At the end, the chief doctor asked the residents of the district to observe the hygiene regime, self-isolation, including restricting movement on the streets for people over 65 years old.
