Mother's Day

Mother's Day in Kazakhstan is celebrated annually on the third Sunday in September. Although the tradition of honoring women mothers in this country has existed for several years, this holiday was officially established in 2012, at the initiative of the President of the Republic, Nursultan Nazarbayev. On September 18, the Cementnik House of Culture hosted the event “Mother's Souls Light” dedicated to Mother's Day. The poems and songs prepared by the members of the "Inspiration" club moved the audience to tears.
