The collective discussion of the article of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev "Independence is above all", during which the main priorities and directions of development of the state were highlighted, was held in the Municipal Public Institution "Center of Language Learning" of the Akimat of Altai city.  Teachers Karmenova J.T. and Grechushnikova T.V. prepared thesis statements on the important points of the article, which should be given more attention.

Kazakhstan is entering the 4th decade of its Independence, where the priority is the competitiveness of the nation and the strengthening of the country. At this stage there is an urgent need to transform consciousness, to reach a qualitatively new stage of development, adaptation and ability to meet the challenges of today's world.
