You can save someone!
When donating plasma, the donor's blood is collected in a special device, where it is divided into components. Plasma is separated from blood components: red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. After which the platelets are returned to the human body. Thus, one to three doses of plasma can be obtained from a single donor. The time frame for plasma delivery is very important: no later than 14 days after the patient's recovery. There are also age restrictions on donation: no younger than 18 and no older than 60 years. Even the weight of the donor is important - not less than 50 kilograms. You can save someone's life!
