By decree of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on October 19, 1995 "On improvement of structure of Central Executive bodies of Kazakhstan" was established the State Committee of the RK for emergency situations. On this day, employees of the fire, water and rescue service and civil defense celebrate their professional holiday. Letters of gratitude from the Deputy akim of East Kazakhstan region B. K. Bayakhmetov were awarded to the head of the special group for managing formations and territorial defense A. Tymbayev and inspector L. Aliyeva.
