Crop production results for 2025
In the Altai district
In 2025, agricultural producers in the district produced 88,400 tons of grain (104.7% of the 2024 level), 94,700 tons of oilseeds (112.3%), 17,600 tons of potatoes (64.8%), and 24,200 tons of open- and closed-field vegetables (98.9%).
The total area under agricultural crops for the 2025 harvest increased slightly by 0.4% compared to the 2024 level. Oilseeds increased by 6 308,8 hectares (15.1%). Grain and legume areas decreased by 2,717 hectares (5.1%), and forage crops by 2,890 hectares (42.6%).
Yields for most agricultural crops were higher than the previous year due to favorable weather conditions. Grain yields increased by 10.3% (from 26.1 to 28.8). Vegetable yields increased slightly by 2.3% (from 326.3 to 333.9). Melon yields remained unchanged at 231 centners per hectare. Oilseed yields decreased by 8% (from 25.1 to 23.1).
The main producers of grain and oilseeds were agricultural enterprises and peasant farms, while households produced potatoes, vegetables, and melons.
