In the Altai district
In 2024, agricultural producers in the district produced 84.5 thousand tons of grain (114.4% of the 2023 level), 84.3 thousand tons of oilseeds (154.1%), 27.2 thousand tons of potatoes (131.4%), 24.5 thousand tons of open and closed ground vegetables (98.6%).
The total area of agricultural crops for the 2024 harvest increased slightly by (0.4%) compared to the 2023 level. An increase in the area of oilseed crops, grain and legume crops by 7,765 hectares (27.9%), and forage crops by 485.7 hectares (76%) was noted. The area of grain and legume crops decreased by 7,857 hectares (19.5%).
The yield of most agricultural crops was higher than the previous year due to favorable weather conditions. The yield of grain crops increased by 38.1% (from 18.9 to 26.1), sunflower by 31.2% (from 20.5 to 26.9). The yield of vegetables increased slightly - by 0.1% (from 326 to 326.3). melons - by 0.3% (from 230.2 to 231).
The main producers of grain, oilseeds were agricultural enterprises and farms, potatoes, vegetables and melons - households.
