In the Altai district
In 2023, agricultural producers of the district produced 73,8 thousand tons of grain (77,9% to the level of 2022), 54,7
thousand tons of oilseeds (82,0%), 30.0 thousand tons of potatoes (99,2%), 24,9 thousand tons of vegetables, open and closed ground (98,8%).
The total area of agricultural crops for the 2023 harvest increased by 999 hectares (1.3%) compared to the 2022 level. There was an expansion of the area of grain and legume crops by 1571.0 hectares (3.9%), forage crops - by 485.7 hectares (76%). The area of oilseeds decreased by 1651.4 hectares (5.6%),
The yield of most agricultural crops was lower than the previous year's level due to weather conditions. The yield of grain crops decreased by 22.5% (from 24.3 to 18.9), sunflower by 14.6% (from 24 to 20.5), melon crops by 0.9% (from 232.3 to 230.2). Potato yields increased slightly by 0.3% (from 248.5 to 249.3), vegetables by 0.1% (from 325.6 to 326).
The main producers of grain, oilseeds were agricultural enterprises and farms, potatoes, vegetables and melons - households.
