Natural movement of the population of the Altai region
During January-November 2023, 533 babies were born in the district, or 97.1% compared to the same period in 2022.
During the analyzed period, 947 people died, or 101.7% compared to January-November last year. In urban areas, 620 people died, respectively, and in rural areas - 327 people.
10 infants died under the age of 1 year, which is 1.6 times more than the level in January-December 2022.
The structure of infant mortality is dominated by conditions arising in the perinatal period (30%) and from accidents, poisoning and injuries (20%).
