Humanitarian assistance to flood victims from processing enterprises of the East Kazakhstan region

In accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, given at the meeting on the current situation and the measures taken to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation in the West Kazakhstan region dated April 4, 2024 on the organization of work to provide necessary assistance to citizens affected by the flood, the Department of Agriculture of the East Kazakhstan region with the support of the following processing enterprises of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk: JSC "MAY", LLP "Ust-Kamenogorsk Flour Mill", LLP "SEY-NAR", LLP "OskemenAgroproduct", VostokEkoLine LLP and Ilmaz Premium LLP organized the collection of more than 20,000 kg of essential food products, including: 12,400 kg of grade 1 wheat flour, 2,000 kg of buckwheat and 6,000 liters of sunflower oil.

Also, LLP "Experimental farm of oilseeds" sent humanitarian aid in the form of buckwheat and peas for 5,000 kg to residents of the Aktobe region.

According to the distribution plan of the Akimat of the region, on April 25 this year, a truck with these products set off for the Atyrau region.

In addition, on April 23 of this year, Ust-Kamenogorsk Poultry Farm JSC delivered 10,000 kg of frozen poultry meat to residents of Kostanay region on its own vehicles.

In general, the AITAS KZ JSC group of companies provides humanitarian assistance to flood-affected regions throughout the country.

To date, this Agricultural Holding has delivered 20,000 kg of poultry meat to Akmola and Atyrau regions.
