Today I visited the Department of Agriculture, where they summed up the results of 2023 and shared their plans for 2024. One of the important issues is the creation of a digital platform for the agro-industrial complex of East Kazakhstan. It will become a full-fledged portal where all information about the agriculture of the region will be collected. Here you will see a list of farms (from large to small), the boundaries of fields and pastures, the number of cattle and cattle, as well as birds, the results of aerial surveys, vacant lots and much more. Obviously, this platform will be useful both for farmers themselves and for investors who will clearly see how this sector of the economy works. For my part, I proposed adding legislative acts and programs for support and subsidies to the platform, as well as historical information, in particular, on weather conditions, the history of cultivated land, so that farmers could see how a particular piece of land developed. They also discussed preparations for spring field work, the availability of seed stock, fertilizers and diesel fuel. The main focus, of course, should be on deep processing, and for this it is important to establish an effective dialogue between agriculture and the relevant management.
