The delegation from East Kazakhstan region got acquainted with the work of a large agro–industrial complex "Alekseevsky" within the framework of the forum "International Business Week - 2023", which opened today in Ufa, the correspondent reports Altaynews.kz Agro-industrial complex "Alekseevsky" is one of the largest producers of agricultural products in the Republic of Bashkortostan. For 48 years of its existence, it has turned from a small greenhouse farm into one of the leading agro-industrial companies with modern diversified production. "The area of the greenhouse complex is 11 hectares, the emphasis is on the cultivation of cucumbers, since their ripening period is shorter than that of tomatoes. As the experience of colleagues shows, for a quick payback of greenhouse construction costs, it is necessary to create a full cycle from growing seedlings to implementation," said Azhar Kajibekova, head of the Agriculture Department of East Kazakhstan Region. She also added that Dutch seeds are now used in the Alekseevsky agro-industrial complex, but next year they plan to try Russian ones. "Our colleagues harvest twice a year. Thanks to the introduction of new technologies, the yield has increased fourfold, so the agro–industrial complex fully covers all the needs of the city of a million people," said Eldos Bayrakhmetov, head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of East Kazakhstan Region. According to Azhar Kajibekova, it is advisable to study the results of the experience of using Russian seeds in the closed ground by Ufa enterprises for subsequent introduction into production on the territory of East Kazakhstan.
