As they say, "Medicine heals people, and a veterinarian heals humanity."
Due to the fact that some infectious diseases are common to humans and animals, it is necessary to consider the spread of the disease together, therefore medical epidemiology and veterinary epidemiology are directly related to epizootology. When studying the epidemic process in a real infectious disease, it should be noted that it is directly related not only to biological phenomena, but also to natural, geographical and social conditions. If urgent measures are not taken against infectious diseases, animal husbandry will suffer huge losses. These losses include the loss of livestock and the associated decrease in livestock, a decrease in the country's raw materials reserves and the export of livestock and livestock products for import. Quarantine and restrictive measures during the outbreak of an infectious disease are detrimental to the economic ties of the farm and will interfere with its activities.
Only environmentally friendly and hygienic animal products of high quality can meet the needs of people.
The main activity of the veterinary sphere is the prevention of dangerous infectious diseases, the diagnosis of diseases, ensuring the safety of food products and raw materials obtained from animal husbandry for human health.
Another aspect of the work of a veterinary specialist is that he often faces work that is harmful to health. Regardless of the time of year, the veterinarian first examines animals suffering from certain diseases and takes therapeutic measures. He has to fight alone against various infectious diseases such as anthrax, tuberculosis, brucellosis, foot-and-mouth disease, rabies, etc. It goes without saying how dangerous these types of diseases are for human health.
