For the sake of children's safety

Summer holidays are a period when children have a lot of free time that they spend away from home. To prevent dangerous situations in the West Kazakhstan region, the campaign "Safe Childhood - 2022" is being implemented. As part of the campaign, employees of the Uralsk Department of Emergency Situations, together with the Commission on Juvenile Affairs of the Akimat of the city, law enforcement agencies, teaching staff, and volunteers held a number of events. Among them:

-explanatory conversations with children and their parents,

-more than 70 raids along the banks of rivers, in suburban areas, and 33 raids to prevent fire-hazardous situations,

-distribution of more than 4,000 memos,

-daily patrolling of water areas, as well as notification of the population via SMS messages,

- establishment of 79 warning signs,

-organization of lectures, trainings in suburban children's camps for more than 300 children on compliance with the rules of conduct,

-thematic performances on TV channels and much more.

The events of the campaign continue. Participants urge adults – "Take care of children and then summer vacation will bring only joy!"
