More than 100 people skied at the event, which was held in the city park of culture and Recreation.
Mayor of the city Abat Shynybekov also took part in the ski race.
"Raising a healthy generation, creating conditions for the formation of a healthy lifestyle is one of our main tasks. In this regard, such sports events as today are of great importance. In connection with the end of the winter season, we are organizing a ski race. The event is attended by citizens of different ages. I would like to thank the participants for their activity," the mayor said.
At the end of the ski race, the activists were awarded. The event gathered assistance to Emir Shakhmarov, a child diagnosed with atrophy of the back muscles.
