Today in the Ural group "Zhuldyz" the regional infectious center is put into operation.

Construction work of the infectious diseases hospital, which began in August, was carried out by Kazraco LLP. The main contractor is the company "BI-group", one of the leaders of construction in Kazakhstan. More than 7 billion tenge was spent on this at the expense of the sponsor company. The modern medical facility is designed for 200 beds. Of these, 20 are intensive care units. The hospital with a total area of 6800 square meters is fully equipped with the necessary medical equipment.

Governor of the region Gali Eskaliyev, who was present at the opening ceremony of the hospital, stressed that the danger has not yet passed, so residents need to take responsibility for their health, observe restrictive measures. He also stressed that medical workers and infrastructure should be ready at any time.

The modular infectious diseases hospital will become one of the points of preparation of the region for new challenges of the time.
