Both professional skiers and Amateur athletes were looking forward to this day. The opening of the ski season in Uralsk took place on the right Bank of the Chagan river.

The head of the regional Department of physical culture and sport Cayman Senderov congratulated the lovers of active holidays with the opening of the ski season. The event was attended by Deputy mayor of Uralsk Bakytzhan Narymbetov, head of the city Department of physical culture and sports Artur Shergaliev, Director of the sports club "Oral" Eskabyl Zhalmurziev and residents of all ages who lead a healthy lifestyle.

After the opening ceremony, everyone took part in a ski race. Although there were no sports competitions, the first eight participants were awarded with memorable gifts on behalf of the regional resource center for youth work.
