In connection with cases of crimes committed against minors, as well as crimes involving them, deputies of the city maslikhat at a meeting of the commission on social issues and social protection of the population heard a report on the work of the commission on juvenile affairs and protection of their rights.
Following the consideration of the issue, state bodies were asked to ensure the involvement of difficult children in sports sections; to assign mentors from among reputable respected persons to difficult teenagers; to strengthen informing residents of the city about the functioning of the 111 contact center on family issues, protection of the rights of women and children. The deputies also recommended the implementation of a project ensuring safety for minors and youth, with the involvement of non-governmental organizations.
