In January-July of 2020 413 962 cars were registered

In January-July 2020, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, 413962 passenger cars were registered or by 17,5% less than the corresponding period of the previous year. As of August 1, 2020 in the Republic of Kazakhstan the number of registered passenger cars amounted 3909,8 thousand units.¹⁾

In January-July of the current year, 6270 road traffic accidents were registered, in which 9096 people were injured. In comparison with the period of the last year, accident rate decreased by 26,9%.²⁾

As of August 1, 2020 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 39400 insurance payments in the amount of 16 billion tenge.³⁾
