Change in prices of export deliveries and import receipts in January-June 2020
For six months of the current year (June 2020 to December 2019), prices for exported goods decreased by 27.9%, imported – increasedby 0.6%.

Over the past period, export prices decreased for oil by 43.5%, lead – by 17.7%, zinc –by14.7%, rolled ferrous metals – by 9.5%, copper – by 4.9%, copper ores – by 3.7%, ferroalloys prices increased by 10.6%, iron ores–by 7.7%, chrome ores – by 2.8%. Wheat prices increased by 19.2%, barley – by 6.8%.
Of the imported products, tobacco has risen in price by 36.2%, fish – by 12.3%, poultry meat – by 11%, cocoa – by 9.8%, vegetable oil – by 6.2%, margarine – by 5.4%, rice – by 4.6%, fruits and nuts fell by 18.9% vegetables – by 8.9%, sausage products by 5.4%. Prices forpharmaceutical products becomehigher 7.4%, machinery, equipment and vehicles – by 1.4%, shoes – by 1.2%, woodbecomelower2.3%, construction materials – by 2%.
To calculate price indices, the primary statistical data of national statistical price monitoring are used for a sample of enterprises of exporters, importers and selected types of products (Form 1-C (export, import), national statistical observation of mutual trade in goods with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union ( Form 1-TS) and customs statistics data. The weighting scheme used to aggregate price indices is calculated based on data on the value of foreign trade of turnover in a given year, expressed in tenge.
