In the II quarter 2020 the average monthly nominal wage per employee was 212035 tenge. The index of nominal wages to the corresponding quarter of last year was113,7%, in real term–106,5%.

In the sectoral segment, the highest nominal wages are marked in Mining industry and the development of quarries–443,4 thousand tenge (2,1 times higher than the average national level), in Financial and insurance activities 386,8 thousand tenge(1,8 times), in the area of Professional, scientific and technical activities–326 thousand tenge (in 1,5 times), in the area Information and communication–273,2 thousand tenge (in 1,3 times), in the area of Transportation and storage–233,6 thousand tenge (in 1,1 times). The lowest level of nominal wage is noted in Agriculture, forestry and fishing–127,3 thousand tenge, which is 40% lower than the average indicator in the republic.

In the regional context, the highest nominal wage was in the Atyrauregion –386,4thousand tenge, which is1,8times higher than the national average.In the Severo-Kazakhstanskaya oblast, its value was 159,3 thousand tenge, which is 24,9% lower than the national average.

Note. In accordance with international standards, the average monthly nominal wage per employee is based on additional payments, allowances, premiums, and taxes and other deductions (income tax, mandatory pension contributions, contributions for mandatory social health insurance).
