Wages in II quarter of 2024*

The average value of nominal wages in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the II quarter of 2024 amounted to 403251 tenge. The growth by the corresponding quarter of 2023 was 10.3%, in real terms, the increase – by 1.7%. The median value of wages (the central level of the salary range) was estimated in the II quarter of 2024, amounted to 278296 tenge.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023 the largest increase in average monthly wages was recorded in financial and insurance activities – by 23.3%, art, entertainment and recreation – by 21.5%, operations with real estate – by 21.1%. In education the average monthly wage increased – by 7.2%, in health and social services – by 5.6%.
