Change in prices of export deliveries and import receipts in May 2020
For five months of the current year (May 2020 to December 2019), prices for exported goods decreased by 26.7%, imported –increasedby 0.9%.

Over the past period, export prices decreased for oil by 53.3%, zinc –by 13.8%, lead – by 12.3%, rolled ferrous metals – by 7.5%, copper – by 4.3%, manganese ores – by 1.2%,ferroalloys prices increased by 12.2%,iron ores–by12%, coal– by1.6%. Wool prices decreased by 0.1%, wheat prices increased by 20.6%, barley –by 9.2%.
Of the imported products, fish has risen in price by 13.3%,tobacco– by 12.3%,poultry meat – by 12%,cocoa – by 8.7%,coffee – by 6%,vegetable oil – by 3.7%,sugar – by 4%, sausage products fell by 6.6%,vegetables – by 5.2%,fruits and nuts – by 4.7%.Pricesforshoesbecomehigher2.5%,woodbecomelower4.2%, construction materials – by 2.1%.
To calculate price indices, the primary statistical data of national statistical price monitoring are used for a sample of enterprises of exporters, importers and selected types of products (Form 1-C (export, import), national statistical observation of mutual trade in goods with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union ( Form 1-TS) and customs statistics data.The weighting scheme used to aggregate price indices is calculated based on data on the value of foreign trade of turnover in a given year, expressed in tenge.
