In January-May of 2020 262 798 cars were registered

In January-May 2020, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, 262798 passenger cars were registered or by 15,3% less than the corresponding period of the previous year. As of June 1, 2020 in the Republic of Kazakhstan the number of registered passenger cars amounted 3884,4 thousand units.1)

                In January-May of the current year, 4178 road traffic accidents were registered, in which 6090 people were injured. In comparison with the period of the last year, accident rate decreased by 26,6%.2)

                        As of June 1, 2020 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 28521 insurance payments in the amount of 11,3 billion tenge.3)
