Gross domestic product for the january-march 2023

The physical volume index (PVI) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for january- march 2023 (a reported data) in relation to 2022 amounted to 105%. In the structure of GDP, the share of production of goods is 35, 4%, services –55, 7%.

The largest growth was shown by the and Construction -115,7%, information and communication – 112%, wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles - 111,1%.

The industries made largest contributed to the GVA GDP Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 1, 5%, Manufacturing – 0, 8% and Mining and quarrying – 0, 6%.

GDP - in market prices, is the final result of the production activities of resident producers.

PVI GDP characterizes the change in the volume of production of goods and services in the economy for a certain period.
