In January-February of 2020 149 938 cars were registered

In January-February 2020, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, 149938  passenger cars were registered or by 2,5% less than the corresponding period of the previous year. As of March 1, 2020 in the Republic of Kazakhstan the number of registered passenger cars amounted 3862,7 thousand units.1)

In January-February of the current year, 1893 road traffic accidents were registered, in which 2666 people were injured. In comparison with the period of the last year, accident rate increased by 6,1%.2)

As of March 1, 2020 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 13618 insurance payments in the amount of 5,4 billion tenge.3)
