Gross domestic product for 2022

The physical volume index (PVI) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2022 (preliminary data) in relation to 2021 amounted to 103, 3%. In the structure of GDP, the share of production of goods is 39,9%, services –52,9%.

In comparison with the operational estimate of GDP,at  which the PVI of GDP amounted to 103,2 % six basic industries remained unchanged, refinements occurred according to quarterly statistical observations in service industries  for which monthly data were missing. At the same time, during the preliminary assessment, the data of statistical observations are supplemented with administrative data, which are also absent during the operational assessment.

GDP - in market prices, is the final result of the production activities of resident producers.

PVI GDP characterizes the change in the volume of production of goods and services in the economy for a certain period.
