109 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered in November
In November 2022, 109 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered, compared to the corresponding period last year, the indicator increased by 29,3%, including passenger cars - by 26,6%, trucks – by 85,9%, buses – by 6%.1)
Thus, as of December 1, 2022, the number of registered vehicles in Kazakhstan amounted to 4403,6 thousand units, of which 87.8% were passenger cars, 10.1% were trucks and 2.1% were buses.
In January-November 2022, 13407 road accidents were registered, in which 19511 people were injured. In comparison with the corresponding period of 2021, the accident rate increased by 9.2%.2)
As of December 1, 2022, 84631 insurance payments in the amount of 44.9 billion tenge were made by insurance organizations for compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners.3)
