Gross domestic product for 9 month 2022

The physical volume index (PVI) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for january-september 2022 (reporting data) in relation to the corresponding period of the previous year amounted to 103,0%. In the structure of GDP, the share of production of goods is 41,7%, services – 49,7%.

The largest growth was shown by the industries Information and communication – 110,7%, Agriculture, forestry and fisheries 106,9% and Construction – 105,1%.

The industries made largest contributed to the GVA GDP Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 0,7pp., Manufacturing – 0,6pp., and Construction – 0,3pp.

GDP - in market prices, is the final result of the production activities of resident producers.

PVI GDP characterizes the change in the volume of production of goods and services in the economy for a certain period.
