Industrial production index in January-Oсtober 2022 amounted 101.4%

The increase in production volumes was recorded in 13 regions of the republic, a significant increase was noted in Zhambyl (by 11.1%),  Abay (by 9.4%), Akmola (by 8.8%) regions and in the Almaty city (by 9.2%). At the same time, a decrease was recorded in Kostanay (by 4.3%), Turkestan (by 4.2%), Zhetisu (by 2.4%), Аtyrau (by 1.9%), Batys Kazakhstan (by 1.3%), Kyzylorda (by 1.3%) and Pavlodar (by 0.9%) regions.

January-Oсtober 2022 produced industrial products in the amount of 39720 billion tenge, of which in the mining industry - 20628 billion tenge (51.9% of the total), in the manufacturing industry - 16972 billion tenge (42.7%).

Compared to January-Oсtober 2021 there is an increase in the production of non-ferrous metal ores (107.8%), coal (101.6%), the production of beverages (108.9%), tobacco products (112.7%), light industry (107.8%),  chemical (110.6%) and metallurgical industries (104.4%), rubber and plastic products (104%).
