Industrial production index in January-September 2022 amounted 102.1%

The increase in production volumes was recorded in 15 regions of the republic, a significant increase was noted in Zhambyl (by 12.3%),  Abay (by 8.9%), Akmola (by 8.1%) regions and in the Almaty city (by 9%). At the same time, a decrease was recorded in Zhetisu (by 4.7%), Kostanay (by 3.5%), Pavlodar (by 2.6%),  Turkestan (by 2.6%) and Kyzylorda (by 1.5%) regions.

January-September 2022 produced industrial products in the amount of 35963 billion tenge, of which in the mining industry - 18827 billion tenge (52.4% of the total), in the manufacturing industry - 15230 billion tenge (42.3%).

Compared to January-September 2021 there is an increase in the production of non-ferrous metal ores (105.6%), coal (102.1%), the production of beverages (107%), tobacco products (115%), chemical (110.7%) and metallurgical industries (104.7%), rubber and plastic products (104.9%), finished metal products, except machinery and equipment (102.5%).
