Industrial production index in January-August 2022 amounted 102.5%

The increase in production volumes was recorded in 15 regions of the republic, a significant increase was noted in Zhambyl (by 11.4%),  Akmola (by 8.9%),  Abay region (by 8.6%) and in the Almaty city (by 8.5%). At the same time, a decrease was recorded in Zhetisu (by 5%), Pavlodar (by 3.1%), Kyzylorda (by 2.6%), Kostanay (by 2.5%) and Turkestan (by 0.4%) regions.

January-August 2022 produced industrial products in the amount of 32127 billion tenge, of which in the mining industry - 16987 billion tenge (52.9% of the total), in the manufacturing industry - 13418 billion tenge (41.8%).

Compared to January-August 2021 there is an increase in the production of non-ferrous metal ores (105.1%), coal (102.2%), the production of beverages (107.5%), tobacco products (115.4%), chemical (111.8%) and metallurgical industries (105.1%), rubber and plastic products (105.1%), finished metal products, except machinery and equipment (102.4%).
