Industrial production index in January-June 2022 amounted 103.5%

The increase in production volumes was recorded in 17 regions of the republic, most of all – in the cities Almaty (10.6%) and Shymkent (10.1%). In the Abay regions production increased – by 8.9%, East Kazakhstan - by 8.2%, Zhambyl - by 8.1% and Akmola - by 8%. At the same time, a decrease was recorded in Zhetisu (by 4%), Kyzylorda (by 3.6%) and Pavlodar (by 1.4%) regions.

January-June 2022 produced industrial products in the amount of 23825 billion tenge, of which in the mining industry for 11609 billion tenge (48.7% of the total), in the processing industry for 9871 billion tenge (41.4%).

Compared to January-June 2021 there is an increase in the production of crude oil (101.3%), natural gas (102.7%), the production of beverages (112%), tobacco products (115.2%), chemical (110.1%) and metallurgical industries (105.1%), rubber and plastic products (111.4%), pharmaceutical (104.9%), other non-metallic mineral products (103%).
