Gross domestic product for the january-march 2022

The physical volume index (PVI) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for january- march 2022 (preliminary data) in relation to 2021 amounted to 104,6%. In the structure of GDP, the share of production of goods is 38,8%, services –52,7%.

The largest growth was shown by the industries Information and communication  - 115,7%, Transportation and storage – 109,3% and Construction -108,6%.

The industries made largest contributed to the GVA GDP Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 1,2%, Manufacturing – 1% and Mining and quarrying – 0,9%.

 

GDP - in market prices, is the final result of the production activities of resident producers.

PVI GDP characterizes the change in the volume of production of goods and services in the economy for a certain period.
