Industrial production index in January-Mai 2022 amounted 104.4%

The increase in production volumes was recorded in 15 regions of the republic, most of all – in the city Almaty (112.7%), Akmola (109%) Atyrau (108.7%) and Zhambyl (108%) regions. At the same time, a decrease was recorded in Kyzylorda (by 3.9%) and Pavlodar (by 0.8%) regions.

January-May 2022 produced industrial products in the amount of 19506 billion tenge, of which in the mining industry for 10257 billion tenge (52.6% of the total), in the processing industry for 8082 billion tenge (41.4%).

Compared to January-May 2021 there is an increase in the production of crude oil (104.7%) and natural gas (106.3%), the production of beverages (118.3%), tobacco products (116.8%), chemical (110.9%) and metallurgical industries (103.1%), rubber and plastic products (111.4%), pharmaceutical (104.7%) and other non-metallic mineral products (105.2%).
