The industrial production index in January-April 2022 amounted 104.7%

An increase in production volumes was recorded in 16 regions of the republic, a noticeable increase was noted by January-April 2021 in the Almaty city (113.5%), Zhambyl (110%), Akmola (109.6%) and Atyrau (109%) regions. At the same time, a decrease was recorded in Kyzylorda region.

In January-April 2022 industrial products were produced in the amount of 15439 billion tenge, of which in the mining industry (52.1% of the total volume) - by 8045.2 billion tenge, in the manufacturing industry (41.5%) - by 6411.5 billion tenge.

Compared to January-April 2021 there is an increase in crude oil (105%) and natural gas production (106.4%), beverage production (118.7%), tobacco products (119.3%), chemical (108.5%) and metallurgical industry (104.1%), rubber and plastic products (114.3%), pharmaceutical (106.4%) and other non-metallic mineral products (109.5%).
