204 thousand passenger cars were registered in January-March 2022
In the the specified period, 204238 passenger cars were registered in Kazakhstan, which is 9% less compared to the corresponding period of the last year. Thus, as of April 1, 2022, the total number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3833.3 thousand units.1)
In January-March 2022, 2600 road accidents were registered, in which 3968 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate decreased by 0,8%.2)As April 1, 2022 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 21370 insurance payments in the amount of 10.7 billion tenge.3)
