Mutual trade of Kazakhstan with the countries of the EAEU increased by 11%*

In January-March2022 the mutual trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan with EAEU countries amounted to5 693.6million US dollars, which in nominal terms is 11% more than in January-March2021, including export – 1 743.8million US dollars (increased on 9.3%), import – 3 949.8 million US dollars (increased on 11.8%).

In general volume of external trade turnover of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the countries of the EAEU falls to the Russian Federation – 93.3%, then follows the Kyrgyz Republic – 3.6%, the Republic of Belarus – 3%, the Republic of Armenia – 0.1%.

The largest increase in exports with the EAEU countries compared to the same period last year is observed forchemical products and related industries, including artificial corundum (aluminum oxide, aluminum hydroxide) – an increase of 3 times, in imports the largest increase was noted for animal and vegetable products, ready-made food products, including wheat and meslin – an increase of 4.3 times.
