143 thousand passenger cars were registered in January-February 2022
In the the specified period, 143741 passenger cars were registered in Kazakhstan, which is 6.7% less compared to the corresponding period of the last year. Thus, as of March 1, 2022, the total number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3826 thousand units.1)
In January-February 2022, 1801 road accidents were registered, in which 2693 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate increased by 1.9%.2)As of March 1, 2022 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 13431 insurance payments in the amount of 6.6 billion tenge.3)
