The livestock of cattle increased by 4.4% as of January 1, 2022

in all categories of agricultural producers, the number of cattle increased by 4.4% compared to the same date of the previous year, camels - by 6.9%, horses - by 11.1%, poultry – by 10.5%, sheep and goats – by 4.1%. The number of pigs decreased by 5%.

Agricultural animals are mainly concentrated in the households of the population: 52% of cattle, 52% of sheep and goats, 56% of pigs, 50% of camels, 44% of horses. The poultry population is concentrated in agricultural enterprises (73% of the total number).

Compared to 2020, the production of meat of all types in live weight increased by 5% and in slaughter weight increased by 5.3%. Milk was produced by 3.2% more, wool was obtained by 2.5% more, egg production decreased by 4.5%.
