The industrial production index in January-March 2022 amounted 105.8%

An increase in production volumes was recorded in 16 regions of the republic, a noticeable increase was noted in the Atyrau region (112.1% by January-March 2021). At the same time, a decrease was recorded in Kyzylorda region.

In January-March 2022 industrial products were produced in the amount of 11637.2 billion tenge, of which in the mining industry - by 6179.4 billion tenge (53.1% of the total volume), in the manufacturing industry - by 4686.7 billion tenge (40.3%).

Compared to January-March 2021 there is an increase in crude oil (107.6%) and natural gas production (108.2%), beverage production (119%), tobacco products (122.4%), chemical (107.8%) and metallurgical industry (104.6%), rubber and plastic products (115.2%), pharmaceutical (118.2%) and other non-metallic mineral products (112.4%).
